The Hellacopter has left the business

It is oh so sad to read that The Hellacopters have decided to "throw in the towel" as they have put it in their page.

But one of last concerts they did before this announcement were held in Tavastia in Helsinki and is by far one of best concerts i`ve been to, not only this summer but EVER.

the circumstances were nice as well, i arrived in Helsinki after my post Roskilde sleep (48hours) and was met by posters telling me that they were playing the very same night, my good friend n von g joined me for the show, and what a show.

They will releasing their last LP and do a farewell tour in 08.

I went to Roskilde after all, bought a German ticket from a Norwegian in Copenhagen. then the last decent meal at Bjørgs Café before the mode were set to "ULTRA FESTIVAL", and we, me and roomboy both agreed in light of a lot of things that it was for the best that this particularly mode were chosen before a lighter one which we now know would have proved to be fatal.

Coz when it rains more that it have ever done in Roskilde , i`m not only in Denmark, i`m on an open field in Denmark with only a thin layer of polyester separating me and the thunderstorm that was the unannounced headliner on this years festival.






But we were fine, me and roomboy camped together with Herr B and his sidekick Herr Bø, together with us was also some Finnish friends how despite the whether have promised to go next year as well.

Roomboy with this years flag, pitifully hid away during most of the fest due to the weather .



the days were killed with drinking and concerts as well as flute playing, this years weapon of choice.
this years highlight musically speaking was Fanfare Ciocarlia

so we survived due to choise of mode and boots, and after having a rather neutral view on mud i can`t say i have been able to maintain my neutral position.

Open at last

hi,
you good people ,
thought it`d do with some chances here in the farmacia, but all the painters i hired to do work, were apparently on LSD, coz this place looks like a mess, but i hope i will have something done with it during the weekend.

I had a nice summer and i will tell you all about it very soon; the sights the festivals, the books and the music.

so i`ll stop here before your eyes starts melting from reading on these colors, and rather post a picture from my trip to finland taken by my dear friend n von g i have not shaved since this was taken, early july so you can only imagine what i look like now, but all this and more later,
